ADD1000B is a Power Line System on Chip designed for industrial and home automation applications. It includes an enhanced 8051 microcontroller,a Medium Access Controller (MAC), and a FSK Modem circuit for the C band CENELEC Power Line Medium specifications. The complete system works with a single 3.3v DC power supply.

Harry Ostaffe of Powercast demonstrated a credit card size prototype device for wirelessly charging thin-film batteries. The fully-integrated device included a 915MHz antenna, 915MHz Powerharvester with charging circuit, and thin-film batteries from CYMBET (EnerChip), IPS (THINERGY), and ST Microelectronics (EnFilm). The device was tested at the Powercast office to provide wireless charging at up to 50 feet.
